Last Christmas we went to my wife's grandmother's house. My 4 year old decided he wanted to play hide and seek in the house. Knowing that my wife's grandmother has several guns in her house, I did not want my son to go hide somewhere where he could find a gun. I asked her to show me where her guns were so that we could deem those places as off limits for hiding. She told me there was one in her bed. I thought surely she means UNDER the bed. Nope. That revolver was tucked in the covers right beside her. The worst part was that my wife had changed the baby's diaper earlier ON HER BED inches from where the gun was. Needless to say, my wife was not happy with her grandmother.
