I'm watching this Vice documentary in which they go over there to hunt mutated animals.

People still freaking live there. They came back a few years later. But who the hell goes over there first place?

Don't know what or where that is.... but on another note...

My eyes sometimes do this weird thing (only at first glance)...
where I connect lowercase r and lowercase n and reads it as a lowercase m instead of two separate letters.
m and rn..

It doesn't happen for words like "stern"

But if could happen for a word like Chernobyl/chemobyl depending on the font of the r and n and the space between the letters

One of my friends did his dissertation on "dark" tourism, places like Chernobyl, Auschwitz, Hiro/Fukishima

Was pretty interesting to see how much it's risen by in the last couple of years

That right there should ease anyone's worries.

You do realize that sort of thing happens before said animals are born? Not after? Unless you're planning to visit and eat lots of local vegetation and then have kids when you get back home, it should be perfectly fine to visit.

I saw a documentary years ago about the first people in trying to bury the reactor. The government offered to pay the worker's families because they knew the workers would die. Also a journalist was flying in a helicopter over the site immediately afterwards shooting video, he and the pilot died shortly after from extreme radiation poisoning. fricked up.

I'm not sure if you are kidding or not, but radiation can alter (mutate) your DNA to the point that you reproduce mutated offspring. That how that works.
