Would you ever marry if you became wealthy at a young age?

...or as a single person?

Whether an athlete, hit huge on some investments, or started up a company that took off?

Even if you wanted to, would you ever trust someone's intentions enough to risk your fortune on them or thru a child support scenerio that could arise from starting a family with a gold digger?

I would follow the Derek Jeter plan and then probably commit to a chick at 35.

Are you assuming that divorce and custody battles are inevitable?

No.

There's no such thing as love. Just using another person for you're own desires (money, sex, social status, etc)

Well...with the divorce rate at 50%....which I imagine it's a lot higher in these types of scenerios.

Of course, if I was with the person beforehand and knew they valued me for me and not the money.

If I just met someone after the fact and they knew I was rich, it would take a pretty lengthy dating period to know they're in it for real.

This post was stupid even before the "you're."

My wife is awesome. I'd have married her regardless of the amount of money I had.
