Would/Do you buy condoms for your kid?

I have a 17 year old, and I know he's active. I'm not raising another kid, and I don't want to see him ruin his life. Therefore, we had a good, serious talk, and I told him that I'd get them for him, but he HAS to use them. No exceptions.
Some people say that I am condoning underage sex by doing this. I say that I am protecting all of us.
All situations aren't the same, and age and gender are big considerations. I think it's right for us in this situation.

Young (normal) people are going to have sex. Its just going to happen. Might as well make them be safe about it.

I hit it raw several times as a teenager because I didn't have access to condoms at that point in time. I made myself a promise to never put my son in that situation.

Buying condoms at 17 would have terrified me to the point that I probably wouldn't have done it. I want to be as sure as possible.

I teach him that abstinence is the only way and Jesus is the only one who can protect him in this big, bad world. Just turn your life over to him and you are golden.
