COWBOY TUFF CHEX This weekend will definitely be a rollercoaster of emotion and one for the books here at the Loomis Ranch.

quote:

Tuff will sell in the Hudson/Valentine Longhorn Sale being held at The Livestock Exchange in Cowtown, The Historic Stockyards in Ft. Worth Texas.

quote:

He has blazed a trail through the Longhorn industry and set new standards of excellence at every turn. Winning each respective division of The Horned Showcase, The Ultimate Bull & The Breeders Choice Bull at the TLCA (Texas Longhorn Cattleman's Assn.) each and every time he was shown for the past 6 years running. He was inducted into Guinness Book of worlds records in October of 2016, when he First passed the 100 inch mark. Even now with a chip at the very tip of one horn, he measures out at a staggering 101 & 1/8th inches.

A progression of his growth...

He also sells with 1000 units of his semen already collected that sale for $300/straw. A $300,000 value.

Any guesses on what the total package sales for?

I can see you're a fan of Bovine, are you sure you're not a State fan?

My immediate reaction to seeing longhorns, being that I grew up around cattle in Louisiana that ranged in the woods: "Man, I'd hate to have to untangle those horns from vines all the time! Get some polled cattle!"

Is this bull 100% longhorn? The taper of the horns almost favors more of a watusi look.

What is the world record for? The magnum bull has a 120" spread.

He's 100% registered longhorn.

Magnum was a steer. He was overtaken by Lazy J's Bluegrass in the steer category last year.

Cowboy Tuff Chex is the longest horned intact bull. He can make babies.

How does the animal fit into a livestock trailer for travel with those horns?

I get that question a lot.

They are very aware of their horn spread and can maneuver as needed if you give them time and don't pressure them.

My bull is 74.5" tip to tip. Here's a gif of him getting out of a trailer... Watch how he gets one horn out first, then the other. Then notice how he barely flinches to miss the iron pipe post on the left between his fourth and fifth steps.

You asked...

That's more of a hot cow, pocket puss switcharoo. There is also a method of electrical stimulation through the butt the makes them ejaculate.
