Cooler weather is around the corner, finally. And just as we lose daylight in the afternoons

Did you have to adjust your workouts with the time change?

What race/tris/events you got coming up? Lets get some motivation going! I hate the freezing cold and my runs and swims suffer due to it.

Try to contribute a little less next time.

I plan on doing the LA half, that's the next thing on my schedule. Need to find time to run though, the change always screws me up.

I workout at 5 am. It's always dark.

5am every morning? That is dedication

I do my swims in the mornings but have skipped way more than I like to admit to.

no, but more people are starting to come back to the gym.

this week, other than after Jan 1, is probably the most busy of the year.

It's bulking season, means I eat whatever the hell I want. Actually I won't start bulking until after the first of the year. As of now, nothing has changed.

Why would it being dark effect your workouts? Wear a glow belt or something if you're going to run on the streets

Wake up for four and at the gym for five. Takes a little to get used to. But gives you great energy throughout the day.

Maybe some people live in not safe areas?

I don't really like running at night - and definitely cannot bike at night.

No, but it sucks leaving the gym and it's already getting dark outside.

sometimes I like running trails

I don't mind running with a headlamp, but not everyone is comfortable with that

Idk I'm trying to find something in Houston that isn't some bullshite "we use te term Race very loosely here... This race is more about getting color on you and showing your mood" type jargon.

It needs to be an evening thing, though.

Boo - HATE that. It makes me feel like my night is already over when I drive home from the gym in the dark.

Running in the woods with a small light is probably the perfect description of my worst nightmare.
