This bar is good beginner bar that has a 1500lb rating, 150 ksi tensile, and 28.5 mm bar. The end is capped instead of bolt.

I own this bar. I paid about double that for it. Bought it because of good reviews and have no complaints of course I will never get close to the rated capacity.

Bushings. Needle bearings are expensive.

Those wright bars look nice. I'm going to be using the Cap bar for a little while and upgrading later. Don't know what kind of bar to upgrade to.

Show up at the Deep South Shootout CF event in October and buy a used barbell from the event. It's how I got the majority of my home equipment.
