It says to drink protein shake immediately after workout but I run at the end after lifting. Should I drink shake before I run or does the 30 minutes to run not matter and drink it after?

Youre thinking too much. That 30 minute window is way overrated and overblown.

Drink it after you run.

Drink it before you run and let us know how that works out.

Are you a competitive athlete? What's your training age? What's your diet?

In all honesty it does not matter when, or if, or how you drink a shake. The results are minuscule.

BCAAs with preworkout before you workout. If it last 45min or longer drink 10 more g of BCAAs to keep from going catabolic during your run.

Drink your shake after your run.

Also, by run I hope you mean sprints. Jogging is for idiots.

Lol shakes.

Bro science is fricking retarded.

Shakes should be supplementary only, and only done on days where you know you won't be getting your protein through other means. Nothing can replace nutrition that comes from it's natural habitat like eating meat.

Broscience is founded on nothing but speculation. It's one giant fricking placebo effect.

What was the study put out about immediate protein consumption limiting the benefits of hormones released due to resistance training?

Never drank any of that stuff, of course not much was around then. I never jacked with my stomach before runs or fishing.

It is pretty easy to get all the protein you need from diet alone. I have no problem getting 150+ grams on a fairly low calorie diet.
