How much do these guys normally cost and is it worth it?

If you are a self motivator its not worth it. You can find plenty of good workouts online after only an hour of research. They're only there to push you.
I can tell you over the internet what to eat and send some links to good workouts. I wont even charge the 100$ a session. I can't guarantee that you'll go to the gym and use the info.

$25/hr plus a gym membership. That is if you buy multiple sessions.

All of the personal trainers I see at the new gym I go to I wouldn't pay a $1/hour for an advice

Anything less than 65-70 an hour and you'll get horse shite trainers.
ETA don't go to a box gym and expect to find a knowledgable trainer.
