We get double time for the hour but I'd rather make my 12 and go home

eta: speaking of which, just out of curiosity, can an employer dick you on that 1 extra hour? or is there a law regarding it?

I don't mind working the extra hour as long as I get to stay on nights. Working days in the oil patch blows compared to nights

I work night when the clock fall back and days when they spring ahead. Every.Single.Year. for the past 14 years.
