Work Situation

2 coworkers of mine recently got in to a screaming/cursing match for approximately a minute and a half. When this happens do you:
A) Let them scream it out and see where it goes from there
OR
B) Separate them and tell each to chill out.
I was going with option B as I was standing sort of in the middle to make sure it did not get physical. It would surely be one sided. Once who I thought was the underdog threw some hate filled "F- you, you fat lazy S.O.B" I then chose to see option A play out!

we had these routinely in the oilfield office life. we held each other accountable and everyone was so overworked it got out of hand at times. everyone was good friends and it would pass easily. safety girl fresh out college told HR she feared for her life. I told her to chill out and go check lifting straps in the shop for expiration dates.
