Just had a meeting, and my place of employment will be closed tomorrow and corporate has sent security (from a security company obviously) for 24/7 watch until further notice.

Work in North Baton Rouge, Industrial Sales and we have several warehouses loaded with inventory.

Will be interesting to see if all these threats are real or fake.

Either way, I get a day off. Anyone else joining the party?

If it's not paid you should protest. Hell, you don't have work tomorrow, might as well protest either way. Just pick something important like boycotting cargo shorts outside of Old Navy.

Maybe you and a few of your coworkers could get together and serve plate lunches to the peaceful protesters. Give the proceeds to the victims family. I think they would appreciate the kindness.

Your company sounds stupid and weak for caving in.

BR economy is going to crash. Start looking for new employment elsewhere.

I don't do troll threads.

Work is legit closed tomorrow. Corporate thought it best not to take any unnecessary risks regardless of whether or not they thought the threats were jokes.

And yes, company will be paying us.

Maybe your company is actually taking part in the financial protest.
