WTF is going on?
A woman in Midland County, Michigan, had her Planet Fitness membership canceled after she refused to stop telling other gym members that a “man” was using the facilities in the women’s locker room.

“Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use all gym facilities based on their sincere self-reported gender identity,” the statement said. “The manner in which this member expressed her concerns about the policy exhibited behavior that management at the Midland club deemed inappropriate and disruptive to other members, which is a violation of the membership agreement and as a result her membership was cancelled."

Heard about this this morning. Seems like a big overreaction by Planet fitness. The lady was unaware of the policy, had no idea the person was transgendered, and didn't do anything unreasonable.

If Planet Fitness doesn't care allegedly about "judgment" then why do they even have men's and women's locker rooms?

Yea, but I believe I remember hearing (this was just on the radio this morning) that she did that before knowing the person was transgendered. I mean, If a man was in the woman's locker room, I would be shocked if some woman didn't tell everyone, if not just to warn them.

So if I decide that on Tuesday I want to self identify as a woman so I can go post up in the womens locker room and enjoy the show, thats okay, right?
