Woman arrested after she shot man found in daughter's bedroom

Authorities confirmed to KOCO that 34-year-old Valerie Fowler was arrested on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities said the man said Fowler shot him in his girlfriend's bedroom. Fowler's juvenile daughter said he came over three times a week after her mother left for work.
The girl said Fowler kicked in her door and fired two shots at the 31-year-old man.
He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Fowler has been arrested on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Yes, but apparently your daughter who lives there did. If so, I'm pretty sure he is not breaking a law by being in the house (unless perhaps if you had forbid him / put him on notice of trespass previously).

Possibly illegal (depending on age of consent laws), but also probably not legally justified to use deadly force to stop it.

If you shoot and kill someone who is trespassing, and is not threatening to harm you, then you go to jail. Simple as that.

That's a terrible headline for that story. It should read "Mother arrested after shooting pedophile caught raping her daughter"

A situation very close to me happened like this while an older man and a younger girl
Except the mother didnt wake up
And the girl didn't invite the man over
And the girl ended up dead
I have no problem with her shooting this guy in fear for her underage daughter
