Just about everything about winter makes me happy...open windows, no need for a/c, not sweating, the crispness to the air, bundling up. I love winter. My only issues is the gray days without the sun and the early sunset.

hunting season (meat in my freezer ) my new favorite winter beverage mulled wine gumbos, chilis, chicken & dumplings soft sweaters kids home for the holidays (and leaving again) turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie new years eve parties and christmas parties little kids faces when they open presents A Christmas Story

Interesting, I love the cold, but I don't care about the water from the faucet, I don't like fires and blankets and shit, I like the actual cold. I do like holidays. I don't know why family is any different when it's cold, unless you only see them for holidays.
I like the temperature. I like being able to breathe much easier while running. I like my electricity bill being less than half what it is in August.
