Will the Monocle ever return as an item of fashionable men's wear?

You know, the circle of glass that Col Klink wore in Hogan's Heroes? That's a monocle.

Do you suppose it might one day return as an item of fashionable men's wear?

You know how women are stealing mens' hat styles and sunglass frame styles? If the monocle came back, I'll bet the ladies would not steal it from us. No, my friends, the MONOCLE would remain a uniquely MALE item of fashionable eyewear.

If a man needed vision correction in both eyes, why not wear a monocle in each eye?

It never left.

Clearly, your choice of friends is suspect.

I would actually like to have one just to wear to work...I would stir up a massive amount of shite by wearing it for just one day...

I'm debating whether to lose a hand so I can sport a hook, an eye for a eye patch or a leg so I can have the peg-leg look.

Monocles are for milquetoasts.

Only if Google refashions it as "MonocleGlass".

Have you seen the film "The Unknown"? Lon Chaney, Sr. plays a man with no arms, so, he uses his feet so smoke cigs, drink beer, etc. To make the film, Chaney had his arms tied painfully behind his back.

Seems like a better option than just amputating your arms or hands.

They ruin everything they touch.

The repeated milking of their too long goatees in a vain attempt to appear pensive...
