Anybody can be in a good mood all day until someone disrespects him by bumping his car and drives away.

That was a mood changer for Cardell for sure.

The prosecution's witnesses did more good for the defense than their own have so far. I thought there was a decent chance Hayes would walk until now.

@chickforet do you think the prosecution feels very confident at this point? You are doing an amazing job.

They should. They had a pretty good day so far.

It appears the defense doesn't have anything in their back pocket

Last resort must be Hayes

Defense is trying to humanize Cardell Hayes. I just stood up twice to see the jury's reaction to small joke. The jury had no response.

Jury wants to GTFO.

Someone tweeted earlier that during testimony, a juror was staring at the clock and another had dozed off.

He stood up because he's about 5'4"

He was on WWL last night standing next to a reporter and came up to his elbow.

Recess for the night in Cardell Hayes murder trial. This likely means Hayes is up to testify in the morning. 9:30 a.m. start.

Judge Camille Buras orders the Will Smith murder trial to be in recess until 9 a.m. tomorrow, calling it a logical stopping point.

Damn NOPD. I mean Kenner sends out the CSI unit for stolen bikes. How do you not investigate the actual accident?

I feel like this weedy thing didnt play out well. seems like the testimony today has gotten away from placing the smith crew as the agitators and also keeping the focus on what happened at the scene during the confrontation. not good for hayes. seems like fuller should call up the other white guy that was attacking oneal and re-focus on that.
