I'm calling this case now--the DAs office will lose as the evidence and facts are very flimsy along coupled with the stand your ground law.

Hayes will get off if I was betting.

Why does defense keep saying he went in the glovebox? Gun wasn't in the glovebox. Prosecution just admitted it wasn't in the glovebox.

then why wasn't it reported first day.
glove was somewhere out of plain sight. hence why it wasn't found until days later

this will make or break the defense

ETA: Im gonna wait to hear these statements to decide if guilty or not, but I agree if it wasn't Will Smith it probably doesn't fall this way

Can we just go ahead and make it a rule that any account of a shooter "standing over the victim" is false?

Consistently hear witness accounts of a shooter standing over the lifeless body of their victim and it's seemingly never what actually happened.

Not really.

They can be the aggressors all they want. That doesn't rise to the level of taking someone's life.

They need to prove the factors necessary for the self-defense claim. If they can prove what they are saying they will make a case of it. At least enough for some reasonable doubt to creep in

that is half of what the defense wants to present and have been throwing shite at the wall since the beginning was an inept and corrupt NOPD. 80% of what's been thrown out there has already been proven to be nothing but bullshite lies.
