I see they limit access to Netflix and HBO-GO. Has anyone used ESPN3 or NFL Network to stream games on their flight? If so, how is the stream?

Its not exactly a blazing fast connection. Don't see how you could reliably stream anything.

What channel are you trying to watch? They have limited streaming. But it's going to be fox if you are wanting to watch football. Espn3 may stream but will be choppy.

You can't stream anything. You can watch what they have in the free tv. So you can get a fox game, an nbc game, or a game on NFL net if there was one.

Just found they offer NFL Network as one of their 20 or so channels.

It's on cbs so you should be able to watch. I believe they have that as one of their free channels

The only streaming you will do is with the Dish network channels they offer for free. The Internet connection you have to pay for is too slow.

Also, if u planning on watching the Dish channels with a Droid be ready to work through an application install from an untrusted source.

I flew SW last Thursday and their NFL Network stream worked flawlessly.

Alaska Airlines is looking at SWA and JetBlue in their proverbial rear view mirrors.

It isn't close.

And I like and regularly use both SWA & JetBlue.

I'm honestly just not a fan of Southwest because of the way they do their seating.

My ideal time to get to my terminal is as they are already boarding. I don't like just hanging out at the airport if I don't have to. Can't really do that with Southwest. Have to get in line and grab a good seat early.

However, props to them for being the last major airline (to my knowledge) that still gives one free checked bag....

....even though I never check a bag.
