I've been saying that about social media for a while now. And I attribute 90% of it to Twitter. Maybe even more than that.

I don't know if that really shows why they are morons. But I liked the video a lot.

It's pointless. And does nothing but take up valuable time and make them lazy. Let em think they're changing the world.
Back in the day if you heard that your favorite sports hero died or of some massacre in a state across the country, I feel like it stuck with you. There was time to ponder it and have real emotions about it. You had time to figure out exactly how you felt about it in a natural flow.
There's too much shite hitting people's phones and computers now. I swear to god, my buddy sends me 20 links a day from his Twitter about random arse news. "Did you hear about this?" "Yeah, crazy." "Did you hear about that?" "Yeah, that's nuts." "What about this?" "Nope, but that looks cool." I feel like that's half of my conversations with people.
It gets annoying, but more importantly, dulls all the stories and peoples' opinions of them. I can only listen to so many opinions. And when they're of varying stupidity, well, they can gtfo. They actually turn me off to shite.

Twitter is definitely the best social media news source.
Facebook is full of crazy aunts and public school friends who are devoted to a cause. You don't see Kony 2012 and shite like that on twitter.
Tumblr is full of crazy. I can't even begin to explain it. Check this out to get an idea.
