Why isn't there more crime associated with casinos?

You have hundreds to thousands of people walking around with a significant amount of cash. I understand there is security but it doesn't take a genius to see who's leaving with the big bucks. Cashed out a little over $10K the other night (humble brag) and I became paranoid as hell when they sat there and counted it out then handed it to me with everyone else watching plain as day. Made me scared to even stop at a gas station on the way home. You rarely if ever hear about crime associated with instances like this tho even if the majority of the clientele are those that are in desperation mode.
Seems more common to get shot on the way home from buying a $200 pair of sneakers.

So there was a crowd around the cashier's cage watching you?

You can ask for a security escort - most people with big cash payouts do that.

Well yes. People in line, people waiting for people in line, lots of eyes.

Yea. It's not that rare to win money if you're betting a lot of money. You can only win what you're willing to lose that's not the topic of discussion tho so continue to think nobody wins at your $10 table that you never get up from unless you're at $0.

Because casinos know how to keep their mouths shut.

Hope you're ready to pay taxes on that bc anything over $2500 is reported by casino in LA

I feel the same way, why'd you cash out with so muc?

There is probably some sort of disclosure clause/agreement to not report crime (so we never hear about it).
I used to work in a gov't building that had such an agreement because they didnt want the public to know how much one person's actions could disrupt the gov't. We had hostage situations, robberies, gun threats, bomb threats, fire alarms, and since we were connected with a family court, sadly, a number of suicides. We had to lock down in place at least 2 or 3 times a month. None of this ever made the news.
Perhaps the casinos have similar iron curtain policy to only let out major crimes and the petty stuff gets handled internally.

Bc casinos contribute lots of money to the judicial process... you commit a crime around the casino and you're looking at more time than a fed conviction...
or i couldve made that up...
