I walked by a festival earlier that was absolutely dead. There might have been 100 people in the main tent and everyone else was huddled up like cockroaches underneath various other tents. Not cool

I don't understand meeting friends at a bar for a couple of day drinks and everyone wants to sit on the patio.

I know. They should cram all the festivals in the 2 or 3 months where it's not hot around here.

When its this hot outside its hard to get people to want to go sit in the heat all day, during the Summer the best thing to do for any type of festival is to start it around 4:00 or 5:00PM and maybe go until 1:00AM or something.

I know the town I am in, the 4th of July celebration on the day of use to start around 11AM, for like the first few years then they finally decided to start it later, like sometime after 3PM because the people who would go there early would all migrate to the shade. It just seems like a safety hazard to have something outside this time of year.

A festival for hot soup outside in 100 degree, high humidity weather.

Makes perfect sense.

A pho festival should DEFINITELY be in the fall or winter. That's just ridiculous

They really are if you live in a place where said festivals aren't full of trash.

I stop doing festivals from June through September.

Juneteenth gets this crappy weather.
Black History Month is the shortest month of the year.

I'm detecting a trend here...

You white fricking Devils .
