Why Don't Celebrities Care About Saving the Rainforest Anymore?

I'm sure polar ice caps will be forgotten in 20 years for the next big cause too.

Just because they don't talk about it doesn't mean they don't give money. There are actually some celebrities who donate a shite ton of money because they feel it's the right thing to do, by giving money and not making a big deal out of it

The rain forests are already gone. Nothing to crusade for. Global warming caused them all to shrivel up and die.

That's backwards. Cutting them down causes global warming. They're a very effective carbon sink.

While it's not the newest thing to hate like Canadians clubbing seals and shite, it really is an issue as the world's lungs'. However, who the frick is going to tell a country that their people should starve because their population needs that land to make food? It really comes down to pictures of starving babies or dead trees and which we'd rather see. Not that any of the Hollywood enviro-hypocrites have thought it through that far though. In the end, it's just not the cool thing to be disgusted by...
