Why do some people smoke synthetic weed?

I don't understand this and never will. So I had two of my cousins whom I hardly ever see tell me that they were tricked into smoking the fake weed. They of course decide to do this after riding with so called friends the night after my dad's funeral services. One of them just got out of the icu yesterday and the other one is still there on a ventilator the friends allegedly threw them out of the vehicle while moving. I never smoked the real nor the fake stuff. Never had a desire too. Is real weed even addictive or addictive enough for a user to not tell the difference between the two. I know he's bullshitting about some of the story.

I thought some drug tests could detect the fake stuff now. These cousins also didn't show up to their own dads funeral bc of reefer madness.

The fake stuff is kind of like a hot pack of heroin now.

Anyone who has smoke real weed can tell the difference. The look, the taste, smell are very different. I tried very small doses of synthetic weed and some of it is not to strong and others messed me up pretty bad on just one puff. That is why I'm in favor of it being outlawed. Its really is dangerous stuff. I can see how people would end up in the ER if they smoked a joint of it. Real weed is not physically addictive and those that sell it legally can let the buyer know about the strengths of the strains they are buying.

I disagree. Heroin and other narcotics are insanely addictive. The physical withdrawals can kill you. That is insanely addictive. If you suddenly stop smoking weed after a while you may be a little aggravated that you cant get high and maybe have a little insomnia for a few days if that at all. Cant disagree about the negative health effects though if you are a long term heavy user especially if you smoke it. Its like any vice moderation is the key

It's just a trend that started when everyone switched to synthetic motor oil. Next it will be gluten free.

Nope not brothers. But my dads brother died about seven years due to a brain tumor at 55. My died was 58 died due to colon cancer

I think it's pretty easy to tell the difference between the real and synthetic. Synthetic tastes like wood and looks like potpourri.
