Why do saltwater coonasses use "mines" so much

when you get south of Jeanerette, you hear most of these coonasses say:
this is MINES.
I got MINES.
what the hell?

They really do butcher the english language. Mines, my monies, hurted-ed, I can get my phone, etc. I lol when one complains about coonasses being looked at as unintelligent and they talk like this.
