Okay, you can't read fast. You are most likely a sub-average reader. Why tell everyone?

You see a wall of text and don't want to read, go back. Instead people post TL;DR.

Those people I assume aren't the smart kids.

You can't build up a post count without posting.

I have low self-esteem. I know I'm too lazy and do not have the intellectual capacity that it takes to write a long post. The only way I can feel better about myself is to try to make fun of someone who can. It helps in bringing other people down to my level.

Bc long walls of text annoy people and furthermore nobody cares to read that much of some other dbags opinion.

Some times it makes sense if someone has trouble getting to the point or using ten words where two will do.

For example any thread that starts off with "I was thinking the other day about how strange it is that nobody ever wondered about this thing that I thought of because other people should be thinking about this too. I can't be the only one who ever thought this can I? Cause it's really interesting and I want y'all's opinion about (insert bullshite)"

Get to the fricking point!!!

Nobody comes to a message board to read a diary or an essay. People want pithy.

Because I already made my commitment by clicking in and your wall of text just wasted my time so I tell you. Then you have to click in to see the reply and get nothing of substance. It is the internet circle of life. When you read this the circle will be complete in this thread.
