I have a dr friend that pretty much only wears scrubs. Dove hunting and drinking beer? Scrubby arse aqua green scrubs. I don't get it.

NPs don't make shite.

I'm talking privately-owned hospitals. As in "for-profit-cocksuckas." Those broads make plenty, plus they get great dope and the good looking ones supplement their incomes as call girls and shite. They do just fine.

I'm an attorney, but I wear scrubs out so people think I am a murse. Also gives me more access when chasing ambulances.

How do you know where they work? I know some people who work in the medical billing field that wear scrubs and they have no contact with patients.

This.

Girlfriend does medical billing & was allowed to wear scrubs at her previous job & hates that she can't at her knew one(Much less of a hassle to have a couple weeks worth of comfortable scrubs ) .

I know the cafeteria workers wore scrubs at Woman's hospital once upon a time & maybe they still do..

You still don't get it. I'm not "judging" him from a fashion point of view. I wear shorts and t-shirt 95% of the time. I just think it's gross. Kinda like I think hospitals are gross. You see?

I'm currently at a restaurant in scrubs. Half the people here are in scrubs.

Totally agree. I also cannot comprehend why doctors wear their lab coats out on the street. They clearly don't understand why they wear lab coats in the first place and makes me question their understanding of basic biology.

hahah idiot

its like wearing a hat that says, hey im a doctor.
they don't wear that shite to be sterile, its not like they are going into surgery

I'm pretty sure most hospitals these days have disposable or "hospital use only" scrubs. I volunteered at one and came in all happy with my own scrubs, but they handed me a pair of the hospitals and said, "You actually use these inside the OR. You can change in the locker room over there." So I'd say most scrubs are as clean as every day clothes or even cleaner since they're used for the drive to work, and then again for the drive home.

The purpose of a white coat is to keep your arse fluids from staining my expensive clothes, not limit the spread of disease.

I'd like to hear more about the bar scene at 8 am where you live

There are over a dozen bars open that early within a 5 minute walk from my place. During the week its older alcoholics but on the weekends they get slammed with younger people still partying from the night before.

I'd wear scrubs everyday to work. Seems like pajamas and easy uniform.

Hahaha. You guys are just mad that I get to dress comfortable at my job. Look, if I get people juice on my scrubs, I change prior to leaving. Otherwise, I am no dirtier than you. Heck, I mowed my grass in the scrubs I wore last night this AM.
