Whether working or not. You know what I am talking about. If anything, it only allows rocks, stuff, and whatnot to get into the boots.

Because they think it looks cool?

So when they are fricking sheep they can stick the sheep's back legs down their boots and it keeps them from kicking them and running away. Has nothing to do with work.

well there is a legit reason for this at times, and it is to not get your jean/pants dirty if you are walking in the mud or tall/wet grass

but if you are wearing your pants like this around town you are probably a giant douche

1. They are trashy
2. To piss you off
3. They do not care what you think
4. 2 of the are correct
5. All above are correct

I always see work boots placed between the back window and the bed of their truck when they're driving. Why do they do that? Seems like an easy way to get your boots stolen.

Only people I see do it regularly around here are Mexicans so they are off to cut grass or pour concrete.

Will there ever be a day on the OT where there are zero threads about what other people wear?

It drives me crazy when I see someone wearing boots like this. It's like wearing your hat backwards and having sunglasses on.

NO apparently you're not alone according to the conversations I've overheard in Texas bar rooms.

I tuck my pants into my boots when I go hunting. That's pretty much it.

To prevent the boots from rubbing your leg raw.

Or they work on the drill floor of a rig with components spinning at a high rate of speed, and if clothing gets caught in that, you have the possibility of losing a leg.

Rednecks aren't the smartest group of people yet they look up to other rednecks so their actions are based on impressing the most ignorant group of people.
