That soccer mom ride is not a beast in the mud.

I don't see scratches from tree limbs on it or mashed up fenders from taking deep ruts a little too hard.

We call those parking lot princesses.

Most popular HS car ever.

I had a '95 2 Dr 4wd Tahoe. Last year they had the 4x transition on the floor... I had a bunch of HS kids who wanted their parents to buy it for them...

'95...

Side note.. Talked to a GM rep about it, he said the market went dry on them when the 4drs came out...

I have a feeling they'll be re-introduced in a few years... and they'll sell like crazy...

I wish I still had mine... Sold it when my wife and I had twins.. It was a bitch putting baby carriers over the high back seats....

My dad had an early '80s Blazer like this one. My mom made him sell it to get a minivan.

I was told the same thing but a local dealer said they couldn't keep them on the lot and people were paying outrageous amounts for the dealership to find and ship units from all over the country.
The resale market on these things was crazy for years after they stopped production. Know a guy who flew to Oklahoma and paid damn near original msrp for one that was two years old.

I've seen them pretty outrageously priced on Autotrader. I've run across a few that have <100k miles in good condition, but even the iffy ones can run between $6k and $8k.

I would've given anything to have one of those in high school. Was my absolute dream vehicle.

If you like the 2 door SUV look, how about one of these instead?

I've got a '99 LT Z71. It's a GD beast. Love that truck. It sits in the shop now, mostly. I upgraded to an LC.

Those 2nd gen Z71's were solid trucks. No argument about that.
