Why aren't any political leaders trying to make peace?

I feel what we neeed right now (outside mowing down every person saying black lives matter) is a leader to step up and try to make peace on both sides. Obama is in fricking Europe while our country is about to burn to the ground and he and hardly anyone else is saying anything about this situation. It's about to get REALLY ugly imo.

Any statement against these protests is seen as racists. Obama probably thinks this is a good thing.

Obama has done the opposite of trying to make peace. Why would he change that now?

Obama is probably like "I got some real shite to deal with and these mother frickers are rioting over stupid shite, getting our law enforcement killed.. I might as well stay in Europe for as long as possible"
