Something about a safe space?

Just watched a video where a professor got yelled at because he believes in free speech.

They got their feelings hurt. So whatever was said was offensive and they no longer feel safe.

SJWs don't want free speech anymore. They want safe spaces. They have absolutely no intention of seeing others have a voice, and as evidenced by Missouri, they will do whatever it takes to remove you from the conversation.

Right now, the conversation is taking place mostly on the Internet, but it's moving to college campuses. I expect it to spread further once SJWs really start believing they have authority.

If people are upset and outraged it has to be about black people

Because they believe they have a right to not be offended.

Because some d bag professor thought it would be a great idea to let people dress up in offensive costumes. It's kinda hard to learn when you're being bombarded by immature rebel rousers trying to get noticed by offending.

I'm not pretending like I'm breaking news. I just want to know what it was that offended them. I just watched a 20 year old curse out a distinguished professor, just wondering why.

I think young, unintelligent people want to feel like they are part of some revolutionary social movement. This SJW stuff is easy because it attacks something all human beings possess: bias, whether it's good or bad.

To keep things in perspective, 99% of them don't give a shite one way or another. These are Yale's version of the people who yell at passersby in front of the Union. If you watch the videos. most students just glance at the freak show and keep on walking.

Of course but when I hear something like "It is not about creating an intellectual space. It is not. Do you understand that?" being yelled at a professor at an Ivy League school, I get a little confused.

Because a professor didn't do anything from prevent a student from possibly dressing in a costume that may possibly upset someone .

Keep in mind that nothing negative has occurred. Only things that could happen

They want free speech to burn the american flag and walk on it, but they don't like being called children or sheltered egotistical brats. 1st amendment is a 2 way street

A professor and his wife argued that students should be given personal responsibility on how to dress for Halloween instead of having the administration advise them. Apparently, this offended some of them so much that they can't bear living in the residence hall anymore.

^ This

I remember my only concern in college was how many more points I needed on my upcoming exams to get B or C in the class.

These kids now days want to be perceived as social super heroes for some made up cause, because they feel insecure .
