In the late '70s he predicted that by the year 2000, BR to NO would be one continuous population corridor

and BR would have 1M people

I think he meant 1M LSU grads will have moved to Houston

Even though he did seem like an old prick white dude. But if I'm wrong on that I'd like to know.

He was such a free thinker. During that time he also tried to ban the sale of cold beer in BR and he tried to stop theaters from showing Monty Python's Life of Brian.

He used that again last month before the start of the La Marathon when it was about 34 degrees
