‘Who’s Miranda?’ Suspect in Kayak Killing Didn’t Understand Her Rights

Who’s Miranda?’”

Legit WYHI but no biggie on the legal side.
This has been ruled on plenty of times and no Judge is going to overturn the precedents on this. You would open a giant Pandoras Box of guys who would confess and then days later walk out the "Who's Miranda?" defense.
ETA. Despite what people think, the statements can even be paraphrased or not even read in some instances. There is a case of a police officer that was arrested and they only said "You understand your rights don't you?" before they questioned him. I would argue the same would go for attorneys and judges.
