If you go, make sure you have a designated driver.

You KNOW that BRPD/EBRPSO will have a "safety checkpoint" close to the event during the late stages of this festival.

The thing that irritates me the most about these types of events are the lines for two oz of beer. Not worth the price or hassle. Just go sit at the bulldog/pel house/cove and wait the same amount of time for a pint.

35 dollars for two and a half hours. That's roughly seven beer or so. I will probably drink more than seven in a two and a half hour period. Nah its not worth it, I will just go sit at the bar.

Last year I tried about 50 beers. So I think it's worth it. A lot of home brews and micro brews.

Silly question, but I would hope they have some potato chip tasting as well?

2.5 hours? Why does Baton Rouge even try anything. Pathetic.

Most beer fests are no longer than 3 hours, turns into a shite show quick. Also zapps is worth it because of all the amazing home brewers out there. I cant wait, we tailgate before and have a post party set up.

Yup, and I'd take advantage of this while it's still allowed.

I've been to a ton of beer festivals and none have been shorter than 4 hours and plenty have been longer. The home brew groups are all present at plenty of other events too. If you're looking for something to do today in Baton Rouge, Zapps is okay I guess, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way for this event. It's a pretty lame attempt at a beer fest.
