Who to contact to airdrop food/MREs?

After calling every number the Internet provides and not getting a human, I ask the OT. My dad and his family are cut off by water in Denham and running out of food and I'm in Texas, is there a way to get food dropped to them?

You need a 5 kill streak for an airdrop

You don't need an airdrop...just someone local with a boat.

Neighbors are his best bet. Everyone helps everyone in this environment. Is he the only one left in the area?

You realize no one is going to starve by missing dinner right?

I'd suggest trying to find someone on here with a boat that can make their way to your parents. May be easier than an air drop

I laughed, but time/place issues dude.

seems like a better outcome would be for them to contact someone to come rescue them

I don't mean to sound like an arse, but if they are safe, and still have water to drink, they are okay. They can go a day without food, worst case scenario, and this water will hopefully start receding very soon. Give the first responders time to get these people in imminent danger and follow-up in the morning.

You and thousands of other folks. The authorities are severely understaffed and are focusing on the places where folks are in attics and on roofs at the moment. Tell your family to ration it out and give it few hours. Best of luck!

I'm sorry for your dad's situation and I hope he gets help but how can a household run out of food in two days?
Posted on 8/13/16 at 10:20 pm to Retrograde
oh no they might go 12 hours without food

Thanks for the response. Your mother did the world a disservice by not getting that abortion.
There are young kids, and cut off by water in every direction.

You really think this city has the resources to call a number and have a box of popeyes chicken dropped to them by a helicopter?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but how can you be running out of food after 1 or 2 days?
