Cheapest way to do this?
Buy one online and do it myself is what I'm leaning towards but if someone could do it on the cheap without the hassle that'd be great.

Something like this on the same type stucco

Buy what you want from Hooks and Lattice, then pick up a Mexican from the Home Depot to put them up.

It's called a Juliet balcony. If you are remotely handy you can install it yourself. The only thing you need to worry about is if there is sufficient blocking behind the exterior sheathing to support it.

I would go to a metal fab shop and have one built.

Pics of the house currently so I can clearly decide if this is as bad of an idea as I suspect it may be?

Cool thanks.

Yeah there's wood behind to support it.

In Baton Rouge. (I thought this was a given unless stated otherwise)

Why don't you put something up that actually has some sort of function but will add the architectural appeal? You could even put faux plants in it, if faux is your thing.

You sure about this? Besides the normal wood studs and sheathing for building, there wont be any blocking in the wall for this unless it was installed at the time house was framed for this purpose.
