Who misses 2 a days?

I just passed former poster bnap's old HS and the kids were in full pads hitting. Not to mention its raining sideways up here.
I sometimes miss Friday nights but not practice. Especially 2 a days.

2 things things I hated about football, 2 a days and spring football. despite that I still miss football the most.

I miss the games but I do not miss the practice. I do miss the shape I was in because of the practice, but that is a double edged sword. We had spring practice, two a days and then summer football camp which ended up being about 3 practices a day with a scrimmage every night against another school. We had to sleep in the locker room for a week and I still can't get the smell of body funk and a propane leak from the dryer out of my nose and that has been close to 15 years since I graduated.
ETA: I think I might miss out cheerleaders most of all they took team spirit to heart.

Every summer, about 3 days into 2-a-days, I remember seriously questioning why I continued to do it (play football). Then the first Friday night game rolled around....

I loved practice. I didn't like basketball practice tho. Practice was a chance to see everybody get better it's kind of fun to see.

Basketball practice never bothered me. I was already in football shape when it started.
Like Turd said, our practices didn't end until puke was dripping from someone's face mask. And God fhelp the mfer that puked and took his helmet off. We'd have to run to Leesville and back.
