Been forever since I bought an appliance. What companies make a good/reliable refrigerator under $1k that can be delivered/picked up in or around Baton Rouge in the next week or so?

Thanks OT.

I would stick with Frigidaire or Whirlpool. They both have a few models that are under $1K. I'm sure you can find them at Lowes or HD or Best Buy. Most have free delivery in town if you spend over about $500.

We bought a stainless Kenmore with bottom freezer for $900 at the Sears Outlet. MSRP was $1500 but they had a small dent on the left side, which is against our wall.

It's freakin huge. Love it.

Whatever you do, don't buy a Samsung. It'll look the coolest, but it will be a huge piece of shite.

Buy a decent used fridge if your budget is only $1k. Trust me, you get what you pay for when it comes to appliances.
