Walked past a house with an "LSU Parking Only" sign yesterday.

BTW, Red River is a cool little town...

I wish it were me, Rummy. We've been to RR three times....twice in the winter and once in the summer.

How's the snow cover on the slopes? I'd love to be there now.

lots of louisiana folk there. they do a pretty nice little mardi gras celebration. tell the locals you're from LA and they are even more friendly.

Good to know, thanks!

Obviously a shite-ton of Texas plates...and a TON of TCU folk!

Nice...

Currently have 20" base and we had about an inch of fresh snow last night, and have 19/58 trails open.

Sweet little town. It's not too far from Taos, which is a hidden gem.

Something like 400 full time, but swells to around 4,000 in-season. You can tell the town is busy right now, but it's not nuts like Vail, Breck, etc.

Why didn't you knock on the door and introduce yourself?

The thought did cross my mind, but I thought it might not be a good idea.

Been there once many yrs ago.

Small town, small mountain, not many ski runs, but yes it's a quaint little town.

I know some Laffy folks who will be there soon, but they aren't LSU fans. At all. But otherwise very good people.

Do they still call the main beginner's slope Powder Puff Mountain?
