Who is Louisiana's favorite son?

Was listening to the radio saying how Peyton Manning is tn's favorite son. Who would be Louisiana's?
Let's say any sport and then football specifically.
I'd say Shaq is ours for basketball. Don't know who would be our football personality that is both popular and respected. What say the rant?
Since TN claimed Peyton, I'd say the criteria is anyone that played for the state and is generally accepted as a Louisianian. Similar to Rob Ryan before the second season.
