It's amazing how many very successful people meditate. It's probably the most common practice done by successful people.

Does anybody here meditate? If so, what kind of meditation, and how do you feel it has helped?

I went to the Buddhist temple off of Monterey, Tam Bao, a couple of times with my girlfriend. I understand the appeal of meditation, but I honestly got little out of it.

There are ways for me to reflect and engage in introspection aside from literal meditation. For me, it felt like a waste of a time.

Plus, it was pretty damn painful sitting with my legs crossed for 15+ minutes and having to remain relatively still.

I read a lot and listen to alot of podcasts about business. Everyone seems to meditate.

I know that's not very scientific, but look into it and you'll see how many super successful people meditate.

I do it after I workout. When my body feels weak from pushing itself.

Yes. Meditation can be really whatever you want it to be. 10-15 mins of relaxed breathing and focus is all you need

I don't necessarily agree. Sure that's how you start, but from what I understand to really get the benefits of meditation you need alot of practice, and you need to get to level deeper than just focus and breathing.
