I didn't install the ones on my house, but they make our electricity bill very cheap with the amount of sun we get

Posigen out of NO is the only company in Louisiana still doing it. Louisiana is so broke that they're one of the only states to discontinue the tax incentives to help pay for the system.
There are still federal incentives out there but can take 6 months to a year to actually get your refund. Basically, you'll need to reach out to Posigen, and see if your home is a good candidate to produce solar energy.
A lot of it has to do with your roof layout and the amount of tree coverage around you. After they come out and do a site assessment, they will generate a proposal for you which should show what your production and your savings should be.
In most other states like New England, California, and Texas; it is a no-brainer. In Louisiana, due to the lack of state incentives, it's a case-by-case situation. If it were me, I wouldn't sign anything unless they warrantee the system and all the conduit for the entire length of your payment term, and it also guaranteed to lower your bill significantly.
