sorta tongue in cheek, we need subjects for collateral damage too! I used to work with this dude that started out Marine Infantry, got flight training, sent up as a FAC, got shot in the arse by his bros, he was a nervous wreck when he worked for me, sir yes sir, stood up whenever I started to get up or came into the work area(approved,) was very protective of me and if he detected any disrespect from any "subordinates" he was all up in their faces, just an example, love 'em all though

Still waiting to here from the man on the flying front. If that doesn't work I may be hitting up Bush for some job advice.

they don't move real fast, as you know, but in my experience that can be better than an immediate response, hoping for the best

Utah

Extremely tight knit community, friendly.

Very low crime and other social pathologies.

Nice scenery and outdoor activities

Wealthy and healthy

Not too far from other "destination" states such as CA and CO

Bingo. I wouldn't say there is a "Best State" but probably a good top give of something like:

Colorado
Utah
Washington
North Carolina/Virginia

Then take your pick. I actually really enjoyed Wisconsin and Madison is one of my favorite places I've lived.

Utah is awesome. I've loved it here.

Weak as in the selection of beers or that they dont sell the high gravity stuff in the State of Utah?

Stores and bars are required to sell 3.2% ABW beer (4% ABV).

Slightly incorrect. Grocery Stores and Certain area Restaurants are the only ones with the 4% requirements (the further you get from SLC, the stricter the rules). Bars and liquor stores, especially in SLC proper, can sell whatever they want.

The local brews, despite the ABV, are actually solid and you have access to both the Oregon and Colorado brews, so I've never had a problem getting good beer or liquor here. Not once.

Liquor stores can sell anything... Although I've seen higher alcohol content beers on restaurant menus.

Exactly. See above.

In terms of the food rule, "You" don't have to order food, just someone does. Again, we've never had a problem with that either. Just grab a plate of wings, they don't care if it's shared by 8 people, as long as there is some food (and again, this is mostly in certain locations, not SLC proper where it's far more lenient.)

And more than a few times, the bartender hasn't cared. It just depends.

I went from New Orleans right to Utah, my drinking habits, mostly chasing good beer and drinking whiskey, have not changed one bit, I just get ID checked more often. That's about it.

I've been intrigued by Nashville for a long time. Looks like a nice place to live.

Gotcha. Well the place we went to, everyone else had ordered food but myself(I was still full from lunch earlier). Waiter wouldn't bring me a drink until I myself ordered food. I just ordered a small dessert and he finally would bring my margarita.

Wow. Interesting stats. I wonder what RNs make on that area. Nashville is an awesome city...

Edit-why Williamson county instead of closer to Nashville?

Schools, property taxes, jobs, and prox to city

Healthcare cap of the U.S. Town was built on music and medical industry

Edit. I can get to heart of downtown in 20 minutes back roads from my house non rush hour, which would add 10 min give or take.

How conservative is it? I don't mean in voting, I mean if I buy a 300K house will the neighbors be pissed to see a full sleeved Woman living next door or hassle me?

I have to say Florida as long as you have a good career. Our quality of life is very good, especially those who live on the coastal areas. Inland is nowhere near as nice.

Look at the pay in Nashville for RNs. That's depressing
