LINK

My personal ranking is Colorado, but based on the CNBC ranking it's 7th. This chart has overall ranking, education, quality of life, cost of living, etc.

Sorry Mississippi and Louisiana and West Virginia. I have no idea why Hawaii and California rank so low.

Lucky fricker. You got do all the cool shite without having to take the big green weenie for too long. I doubt I'd be qualified for that kind of work anyway. Just a dumb grunt who got thrown into some bullshite more times than I'd have liked.

Texas, North Carolina and Arizona have all treated me well! Louisiana is my least favorite of the 4 but my wife and I make too much money to leave. Eventually the goal is to end up in Texas again.

You are just the kind of person they are looking for.

I myself am done with it. Done.

Just a dusty concrete jungle along the interstate. Felt like a typical sprawling metro suburban dystopia. The main water feature supports only brine shrimp. And it's at least 50% Mormon. What could possibly go wrong. Park City etc have great skiing and other outdoor stuff obviously, but there are better metros with better outdoors closer by. It just doesn't strike me as a great spot to live.

Yeah, I doubt I'd ever go through with it. But I've thought about it, especially when I'm for whiskeys in like I am right now.

I've heard they've gone downhill. When I was in the reserve unit here in BR we'd see them training at the State Police training facility here. Not sure if there they're still here. I know one of our lance criminals got hired on with no deployments or anything like sniper school, just a reserve grunt. Heard they had to lower their standards after blackwater got the boot.

ETA: That wasn't meant as a slight to you. It was a shot in the dark.
