Plus I see that I owe $1556 in back taxes. arrrgh Why do I have to pay $657 for EBR schools?

Art Favre is really poor. Has a $30mm place in Orange Beach

I've lived here almost all my life and I don't believe there is a 30M property in Orange Beach; there are several in the 5-7M range including a home on Ono Island that sits on 17 waterfront acres and it's worth is about 6m or less. Not saying you are wrong but if someone valued a property in Orange Beach at 30 mil it's either outlandish, an entire commercial/condo building or some secretive shite.

Looks like he purchased the rest of the Wharf from all the other criminals. Looks like that's what you mean't. It's a commercial boon doggle that could have been something but now it's so tangled in law suits that not even F Lee Baily could unravel it.

Haven't read the thread, so the question may have been answered. It's owned by the owner/president of Performance Contractors.

My wife and I have driven by the place before, that whole street has some baller homes.

No I am talking about his super contemporary home at Sunset Point. My aunt has the only contemporary home on Ono and she used a lot of the same subs. Her house is a normal lot and 6000 sq ft. but the house is all concrete. It was almost $3.5mm all in. She was told that Favre spent almost $3mm just on electrical and lighting on his place. Supposed to be 15000 ft.

That's short for F U, baw. Don't approach unless we're expecting you. The outer guards are typically new and eager to impress us.

Ahh so I wasn't completely stupid. I remembered reading that Fields built a house at the end of the road. But apparently Favre does TOO now. But The F is for Fields then?

Google STreet View. Look at the google car reflection

I'm going to say this at the risk of derision - I am acquainted with both Cleo and Wilson Fields. They say if you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all -

Well, Cleo seems like an alright dude, overall.

Right. When I replied first I thought for sure that was Fields house. Then I did a quick check on gmaps and ebr assessors site and saw 610 was favre and assumed it was end of street. But they got one of them switch a roos going on. I'm just a tard but was right the first time.

570 is the end of the street and is Fields' house.
610 is before it and is Favre's house.

Under Cleo Fields' Wiki entry:

quote:

Fields achieved considerable notoriety in 1997 when an FBI surveillance videotape showed him accepting a large amount of cash (about $20,000) from former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards and stuffing it in his pockets. At the time Fields stated that the incident was just an innocent business transaction between friends, and said there was a humorous explanation, which he would make public shortly thereafter. A cloud hung over Fields as an unindicted co-conspirator in Edwards' criminal trial and in the end Fields refused to deliver the promised "humorous" explanation, stating that at the time of the cash transfer, he was not an elected official, and therefore under no obligation to explain publicly.

Apparently he's still stuffing the money in.
