which MJ is more famous/influential, Michael Jordan or Michael Jackson?

I say Michael Jackson, but only because I think Jordan is way overhyped & would never have come close to 6 rings without Pippen & Grant/Rodman.

but the answer is Jordan. Jordan was the first athlete to become a world brand. This is what set him apart.
