And props on thinking salary has anything to do with difficulty. PetE is so easy I had job offers as a Civil grad coming out of school.

Had I gone the engineering route this is what I would have done.

When I was in the NICU for my sons, I saw Biomedical Engineering certifications all over the equipment. That sounds like it would be the hardest as you have to know engineering AND medical. Heard some of the MD's say Biomedical Engineering is popular for the undergrad for MD school.

You left civil off the list. Government work brings their average pay down, but you can make really good money with this degree.

Also, PeteE above ChemE and Electrical is a joke.

C'mon man. Are any of these really a joke? I don't even know what an EE does but it doesn't sound super easy

This has been an entertaining thread.

He saying having PetE above EE is a joke, not that EE is a joke.

I can say that the good teachers (not the easiest) classes much more enjoyable and easier to understand.

I have a student teacher for fluids right now

The one EE class I've had was the Comp EE with Rabalais. It sucked not because of the material but the teacher.

And slamming OT 10's on the reg doesn't have anything to with difficulty either, $$$ does. Sorry for being successful

In most job requirements, most companies don't even care what discipline you are. It just says Engineering with a PE and 5 years of experience. So why in the hell would I pick the hardest

All those chemistry classes he listed were cakewalks. I'll never understand how people say org chemistry etc is hard.

It's only hard if you have sucky teachers.

The kind of person that wouldn't find o chem hard is the kind of person that is smart enough not to say something so stupid as the above quote.

It was hard... but more like "frick this bullshite" type of hard. Didn't like it. Didn't want to look at it.

Wait, so you're an engineering student and you're speaking authoritatively about salaries?
