Looking to purchase a new suit in Baton Rouge. Have done J. Banks in the past, but want a nicer suit this go round. Price Range is from $500 - $1K. Any help is appreciated.

I've had great success getting suits from Overstock.com

I'll then take them to a alterations place in town to get the pants hemmed to my size

Dillard's at Mall of LA. There's an old salesman that's been there for decades and will make the whole process very easy.

yes, forget the old guy's name at dillard's but he's very good for a large retail store. They carry some good name brands too

McLavy's in Bocage shopping center. It's an old style men's clothier. Jimmy Osburn will take care of you. They have everything from a $400 off the rack to a $1K+ custom made job.

Suit Cafe

I've gotten a couple suits from here. I've actually flown up to NY and met with the guy as well. Great suits and reasonable prices.

I would buy a Samuelsohn from either George Bass or Carriages. Gonna cost you about 1200-1400 though, but it's a fully canvased suit and will last you years. Well worth the money.
