I made an agreement with my daughter if she got straight A's I would take her to get her ears pierced for her birthday. She held up her end of the deal so I am looking for recommendations.

I wanted to stay away from the cheap mall shops with the reusable germ gun. It seems most people are recommending tattoo shops as they are more experienced than pediatricians and have high sanitary standards. I don't know anything about local tattoo shops though. Thoughts or recommendations?

I suppose the next deal will be for a tat. Congrats on the trashiness.

My initial thought was the pediatrician.

Pediatricians pierce ears?

Are there docs that do Prince Albert's as well?

You wouldn't let your daughter get her ears pierced until she made straight A's?

I feel you...earrings are the mark of the devil.

Chicas Locos in Houston will get her fixed up.

We used Claire's in the Mall of La. The gun in clean and the earrings are clean. The bacteria on the ear, well, that's another thread.

Yea and right answer for a kid. Don't waste time and money on pediatrician or some over priced tattoo parlor(they actually do great work). Claires is perfectly fine. You ain't getting surgery.

Just get two cubes of ice and sterilize a needle.

Looks like I'll try Clair's. Was worried about the cleanliness of the gun which made me think doctor. Thanks for the input.
