When you travel, do you use Priceline for hotels

or something similar?

In larger cities, can get Holiday Inn's and similar hotels for around $50.

I use hotels.com or Hotwire. If I'm flying somewhere, I sometimes do the packages on Expedia. Internationally, I tend to book directly with hotel.

Love name your own price. In Dallas, got a Holiday Inn for $40, though $50 is usually an average price.

He'll no. I go straight to the hotel I know isn't crappy. Plus you usually get loyalty rewards for doing it.

Jones and I stayed at Residence Inn in NOLA Warehouse District for $50 that's usually $130-$150/night. We kinda just ended up with it and ended up loving it. Full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom.. $50.

I did this for a while but for nicer hotels, you tend to pay over $100. I now get them for $50, which is much better than loyalty rewards.

If it's a special time where Name Your Own Price is not worth it, I go directly through the hotel. I never understood using Priceline or Expedia or any of that shite for regular priced hotels. Much better to go through the hotel itself because you get reward points and you don't risk the reservation not being there.

I stupidly booked through Expedia my freshman year of college with a couple girlfriends. It asks for the name of all guests. Well they put the reservation under my first name and another girl's last name so it took hours for them to find our reservation.
